Lights, Camera, Action!

Luz, cámara, acciónCongratulations to all of you for your Projects! I’m very happy to share them here.

Films are a great way of entertainment but they may often be much more than that as they can teach us valuable lessons in life. This short film called Aberto and Christian created by Fabricio, Alejo, Camilo and Pablo leaves us a really important message. Excellent acting by the way! And great editing skills, too! You can read the script here.

Talking about valuable lessons…what consequences can these things have at school when something like this happens and is shown by the news? Watch and judge by yourself in this film called News New York One made by Lourdes, Camila, Emilia, Valentín and Matías. And special thanks to Luján, History Teacher, Jimena, Joaquín and Matías for your collaboration and participation in the film, you deserve an Oscar Award! You can follow the script here.

If you enjoy film reviews, don’t miss these ones:

Argentine films by Martina M. Classic and modern films with a great insight into human behaviour.

The Hateful Eight by Abril. A well-known film by Quentin Tarantino.

Titanic by Martina G. A., Nerea and Juan. The famous love story that has made many hearts sigh.

Bee Movie by Athina, Ailén and Lola. A children’s animated film with a message.

So, get your popcorn, sit back and enjoy!

2nd Year Project: A Collection of our Favourite Book Reviews

The Sleeping BeautyWelcome to the Project!

Let’s start by the beginning. We all have stories and books we love. For me, books are one of my treasured possessions. I love flipping the pages when I’m reading and I imagine the story visualizing everything in my mind. Reading is an incredibly fascinating and relaxing activity for me. When I was a child my mum read my sister and I a story at bedtime, or she invented a story herself and told it to us at the moment; of course, sometimes she changed some parts and we said, but that didn’t happen! My mum said, Oh, that’s because it was magical. So we were curious to see how the story continued…

When I was a child I loved stories about princesses and magical kingdoms. What about you?

What was your favourite story when you were a child? What was it about? Who was the best character? What was the best part ? Did you like the ending? Why (not)?

Do you have a favourite story now? But wait…don’t tell me now, that’s for your book reviews in the next part of our Project!

By now I’d like you to answer these questions by writing a comment.
